Jenny works on new song whilst trying to hide those cyclist tan lines. Playa Ventura, Guerrero

Playa Ventura is a quiet and picturesque beach on the Costa Chica of Guerrero State, Mexico. We decided to take a day off the bikes to enjoy some beach bliss. We found a little hotel called Villa Tortuga. They let us camp under their palapa for $120 pesos (about £3 each) and use their WiFi for free. Jenny worked on some new songs while I started writing a geeky WordPress widget for displaying recent geolocations.

The morning is reserved for my two remaining vices: coffee and internet.

Playa Ventura is a beautiful, quiet ecotourism beach. We may be out of season for the tortuga sightings, but on the other hand, we have the whole place to ourselves and room to barter on the usual high season tourist prices.

These three amigos were cute to begin with, but then they started trying to eat everything, including our tent! We are thinking of making a wanted poster if they strike again.
