I traveled in Guatemala twice and found the rural people very friendly. It’s surprising how happy they are, even if they live in areas outside the civilization, without power supply. Just candle light or petroleum as a source of light. All they have, is what they can plant and harvest with their hands and sell on a market… Have a safe trip!
