Hello, yes we left our bikes and gear at the campsite. The place was empty when we were there. I would recommend speaking with the tourist office beside the campsite about it to make sure it’s safe.

Thanks for this post, it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m in Tegucigalpa now and I’m thinking about visiting La Tigra. Did you camp out one night and then go hiking the next day? If so, when you were hiking did you just leave your bikes and gear at the campsite? I’ll be in the same situation with my bike and touring hear so I was curious how you handled that.
