Hi Lars, I will definitely be living near Mazunte once, I’ve sold my flat in Walthamstow! I spent a few years near San Jose del Pacifico and did a lot of MTB down there. However, Mazunte was always a grey area to me due to the frequent punctures. I know of someone who knows all the singletrack from the mountains down to the coast though. It takes two days apparently. Anyway, you are heading south now. I’ve never cycled that part, but I guess it will great! (except for the long uphill to San Cristobal). Chiapas and Guatemala are amazing. Cafe and Tamales are not to be missed.

Hey Omar, I posted about the mountain biking in Mazunte here.

I didn’t get a punctures, but I did drink a lot of water, swallowed a lot of insects and dodged several grapefruit sized toads!
