Hey Mark,

I would recommend talking to German who runs Escarabajo Bikes. I went on a ride with him when we were there. He knows a lot of local trails and is involved in local XC Racing.

My name is Nour, I live in Laguna Beach, CA, and I am trying to plan my move to SMA to retire, I am 57 years old, a chef, a trained architect, and a cyclist, I was interested to hear that some avid cyclist live in SMA, I would love to know more about your personal experience in living and riding in SMA.
